Expression of Interest for Satellite-Based Basemap Service Provision The subject of this contract is the provision of access to a true color, cloud free satellite/aerial-based, hybrid, topographic and 3D terrain elevation basemap service to be integrated into web-based or native geographic information system (GIS) applications operated by the Contracting Authority. The basemap shall consist of optical high-resolution satellite/aerial-based, hybrid, topographic and 3D terrain elevation basemap provided as a tile-based online map service, suitable for interactive web/native app use. The objective of this contract is to ensure the availability of a high-quality, reliable, and scalable satellite/aerial-based, hybrid, topographic and 3D terrain elevation basemap that provides visual background context for geographic data displayed in a web application. The basemap shall support zoom levels corresponding to a ground resolution of approximately one (1) meter or better, particularly in urban and built-up areas.
