Tenders are invited for Trainer Protection Committees Capacity Building Project Title: Enhancing Access to Protection and Education Services for Marginalized Communities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip Donor: War Child basket Fund Project Duration: March 2026 October 2026 Assignment Duration: June 2026 July 2026 Project Locations: Gaza City Khan Younis Jenin 1. about PWWSD The Palestinian Working Women Society for Development (PWWSD) is a feminist, non-governmental organization that seeks to achieve gender equality and combat all forms of discrimination and genderbased violence. PWWSD is committed to facilitating womens access to justice and contributing to development processes through psychological, social, and legal support services. The organization works to empower women and enhance their participation in political, economic, and social life while supporting the rights and protection of vulnerable groups, especially women and children living in conflict-affected areas. About the project: The project Enhancing Access to Protection and Education Services for Marginalized Communities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip aim to improve the protection, well-being, and resilience of conflictaffected children and their caregivers in Gaza and Jenin by providing inclusive, child-cantered protection services and improving access to MHPSS, protection case management, community networks, and capacity building from March to October 2026. 2. Overall Objective To strengthen the capacities of Community Protection Committees in Gaza and Jenin to provide community-based protection support, identify and respond to child protection concerns, support safe referrals, and contribute to safer and more inclusive environments for vulnerable children and families. Consultancy overview: PWWSD is seeking to recruit 2 External Trainers one in Gaza and one from West Bank (Jenin) . The trainers will conduct 3 training days in every area for protection committees Through June 2026. 3. Objective of the Assignment The training aims to: Reach the concept of Protection Committees and their role in strengthening community protection, as well as advocating for the rights of the most vulnerable individuals, including children. Strengthen understanding of Child Rights (CRC) and Child Protection principles Build capacity on Child Protection Minimum Standards (CPMS) and safeguarding Enhance awareness on PSEA principles and safe reporting mechanisms Introduce Psychological First Aid (PFA) as non-specialized MHPSS support Strengthen understanding of gender analysis and GBV risk mitigation Improve knowledge of child protection referral pathways and interagency coordination mechanisms Promote awareness of available services, hotlines, and community-based support systems 4. Scope of Work / Key Tasks The selected trainers will be responsible for: Training Design and Preparation Develop a comprehensive training package and methodology Prepare detailed training agenda and facilitation plan Develop pre- and post-assessment tools to measure participants knowledge and skills Prepare training materials including presentations, handouts, exercises, and case studies Training Delivery Deliver 3 training days (18) hours in each location o One in Gaza o One in Jenin Total training duration: 36 training hours targeting 30 participants across both locations. Ensure safeguarding and inclusion by integrating GBV-risk-mitigation measures and accommodating caregiving and mobility constraints. Ensure participatory, interactive, and context-sensitive training methodologies Facilitate practical discussions and scenario-based learning exercises Provide final report including (photos, quotes,) and pre and post analysis. Training Topics The training package should cover: Child Rights Convention (CRC) Child Protection principles and CP Minimum Standards (CPMS) Safeguarding in humanitarian settings Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Psychological First Aid (PFA) and non-specialized MHPSS Gender analysis and GBV risk mitigation Referral pathways and interagency coordination mechanisms Community-based protection approaches Safe identification and referral of vulnerable children and families Coordination and Reporting Coordinate closely with: o Project Coordinator o Protection staff and facilitators o MEAL team for documentation and reporting Tender Link : https://www.jobs.ps/en/tenders
