In Order To Follow Up On The Guidelines In Speech Preparedness - National Strategy For An Open And Informed Public Discourse, Strategy For Strengthening Resistance To Disinformation And The Recommendations From The Freedom Of Expression Commission, The Government Will Establish A Research Center That Will Contribute To Long-Term Research On The Public Discourse, Including The Status Of Freedom Of Expression, Polarization And Disinformation. According To The Plan, The Center Is To Be Established For The Period 2026–2030. For The Budget Year 2025–2026, Nok 5 Million Has Been Allocated, Excl. Vat For An Acquisition For The Establishment Of The Centre. For The Years 2027–2030, The Ministry Is Aiming For An Annual Limit Of Nok 10 Million, Excl. Vat For Further Operation Of The Centre, Subject To The Stortings Annual Budget Proceedings. The Value Of The Acquisition Is Nok 5 Million, Excl. Vat, But If The Storting Grants Nok 10 Million Excl. Vat For Further Operation Of The Center In The Years 2027–2030, The Total Value Of The Contract Could Be Nok 45 Million, Excl. Vat
