The Construction Of A New Build Construction Of 2 Separate Facilities, On Separate Sites, In Lake Louise, Within Banff National Park, A Firehall And A Multi-Unit Residential Building, Both Buildings For Improvement District No. 9. Spaces Include Apparatus Bays, Administrative And Support Spaces, Residential Units, And All Associated Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, And Electrical Systems. The Work Includes The Complete Building Envelopes, Interior Fit-Out, Coordination Of The Work, And Commissioning Required To Deliver Fully Operational Facilities. The Current Fire Department Is In A Shared Facility With Parks Canada. The Growing Demand Of Services Requires The Current Fire Department To Be Upgraded To Current Standards For The Ability To Respond In A Timely Manner That Serves Lake Louise And The Surrounding Areas. The Multi-Unit Residential Building Is Lake Louise Staff Accommodations In Particular For The Fire Department, Helping With Staff Retention And Longevity Of The Lake Louise Firehall.The Project Will Be Delivered Using A Fixed Price Construction (“Design-Bid-Build” Or “Dbb”) Delivery Method.
