The Contract Is A Three‑Year Option To Review (Otr), Subject To Available Funding Within The 100 Mile House Natural Resource District (Dmh). The Contract Is Expected To Require Approximately 1,000 Hectares Of Silviculture Survey Work Annually, With Survey Areas Varying In Size. Survey Types Include Regeneration Delay, Stocking, And Free Growing Surveys. The Majority Of Surveys Will Utilize Single‑Story Methodologies; However, A Portion Of The Work Will Require Multi‑Entry (Old Multi-Storied) Survey Methods. There May Be Situations Where Layout And Gps Traversing, May Be Required.Most Survey Areas Are Located Within The Idfdk3 Biogeoclimatic Ecosystem Classification (Bec) Zone, Primarily In Older Fire‑Damaged Stands Where Under‑Story Planting Has Occurred. Additional Survey Areas Include Previously Harvested Sites Located In Other Bec Zones Within The District.The Proponent Shall Conduct Surveys, Stratification, Silviculture Treatment Recommendations, And Reporting In Accordance With The Approved Opening Prescription(S), The Silviculture Survey Procedures Manual, Fs660, And All Other Documents Specified In Schedule A. Detailed Requirements For Deliverables Associated With Each Survey Type Are Also Outlined In Schedule A.Field Data Collection, Analysis, And Reporting Is Required Through Snap!, To Facilitate Ease Of Data Export To Results And Eventual Integration Into The Ministry’S Forest Management System (Fms).
