The Immediate Reason Was That The Current Environmental Vision Adopted In 2022 Does Not Provide An Adequate Response To Current Social Challenges That Entail A Claim For Space, Such As Large-Scale Housing Construction. In Line With This, It Has Been Found That The Current Environmental Vision Does Not Make Sufficient Integrated Assessment And Choices At A Strategic Level. The Result Of This Is That Decisions Are Made Ad Hoc Without An Overarching Common Thread. There Is No Clear Direction About What We As Ermelo Want To Be In The (Further) Future. This Was The Reason To Start The Environmental Vision 2.0 Process. The First Phase Has Now Been Completed With The Ermelo Memorandum On The Way To 2050 (See Attachment). The Second Phase Starts With This Action Plan. Approach The Approach To Phase Two Basically Has Three Steps: Preparation (Including Drawing Up A Communication And Participation Plan), Drawing Up And Adopting A Guidance Document Including Eia Assessment, Drawing Up And Adopting An Environmental Vision. The Planning Is Aimed At Establishing The Environmental Vision At The End Of 2027. The Intended Result Of Phase Two Is: A Guidance Document And Subsequently The Environmental Vision 2.0, Within The Context Of The Ermelo Policy House (As Described In The Memorandum Ermelo On The Way To 2050). Broad Commitment From The Organization, Management And Other Parties To The Position And Importance Of The Environmental Vision Within The New Working Method.
