Herefordshire Council Has Statutory Duties Under The Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act 1983, Care Act 2014, And The Health And Social Care Act 2012 To Ensure That Adults Who Face Barriers To Involvement In Key Decisions About Their Care, Treatment, Rights Or Welfare Are Provided With Access To Independent Advocacy. The Independent Advocacy Service For Adults Is Commissioned To Meet These Duties And To Ensure That Herefordshire Residents Have Access To An Independent, Confidential, Person Centred Service That Supports Individuals To Understand Information, Weigh Up Choices, And Communicate Their Views.
