West Lancashire Borough Council Is Looking To Appoint A Contractor To Undertake Monitoring And Maintenance Of Two Closed Landfill Sites At Alder Lane, Parbold & Mill Dam Lane, Burscough. Primarily To Monitor The Gases And Leachate From Both Sites And To Maintain The Two Current Airless Leachate Stripping Plants, Gas Vents & Boreholes. In Addition, An Initial Audit Of The Sites Is Required To Establish A Benchmark For The Condition/Lifespan Of The Assets. To Ensure Wlbc Meets Its Obligations To Monitor And Limit Any Environmental Impact Of The Landfill Operations At Its Closed Landfill Sites.
