The Larc Service Delivers The Fitting And Removal Of Intra-Uterine Contraceptives And Devices (Iuc/Iud); Levonorgestral-Containing Intrauterine Systems (Lng-Ius) And; Sub-Dermal Implants (Sdis).This Procurement Is Being Undertaken Following The Most Suitable Provider Process As Defined By The Provider Selection Regime Of The Health Care Services Regulations 2023. Under This Procedure, The London Borough Of Merton (The Council) Has Undertaken Market Research To Identify Providers Within The Borough Who Are Capable Of Delivering The Service, And Who Meet The Mandatory Requirements As Contained Within The Intended Approach Notice Published Via The Find A Tender Service On 6Th May 2026. This Process Enables The Council To Identify The Most Suitable Provider Without A Competition. Providers Are Only To Express An Interest Where They Can Demonstrate That They Meet The Mandatory Requirements Contained Within The Intended Approach Notice, Including The Existing Provision Of Larc Clinics In A Primary Care Setting Within The London Borough Of Merton For Contraceptive Purposes, Offering Iuc Fitting, Checking, Monitoring, Removal, And Post Coital Iuc For Emergency Contraception.
