Project: Tender21739 - Hearst Mnr Culvert Replacements And Brushing . Request For Bids For The Provision Of Construction Services To Support The Maintenance Of Forest Access Roads For The Ministry Of Natural Resources. The Work Includes Water Crossing Replacements And Roadside Brushing Along Sections Of The Caithness, Oba, And Marjorie Roads Within The Hearst Forest. The Successful Contractor Will Supply The Labour, Equipment, And Expertise Necessary To Complete The Work In Accordance With Contract Specifications And Environmental Requirements. These Services Are Required To Maintain Safe Road Conditions And Support Continued Access To Crown Land. Scope Of Work The Ministry Requires Construction Services To Support The Maintenance Of Forest Access Roads Within The Hearst Forest, Including The Replacement Of (7) Seven Water Crossings Along The Caithness, Oba, And Marjorie Roads, And Roadside Brushing Along Approximately (16) Sixteen Kilometres Of Marjorie Road. These Services Are Required To Maintain Safe Travel Conditions, Restore Aging Infrastructure, And Ensure Continued Operational Access To Crown Land. Work In Or Near Water Must Occur Between June 15 And August 31, 2026, With All Remaining Brushing Activities Completed By November 30, 2026. All Work Will Occur At Designated Locations Southwest Of Hearst, Ontario, As Shown In Schedule 5 – Contract Maps.
