Clinic Construction Work – Appointment Of Contractor For New Construction Rehabilitation Hospital - Engineering & Build. The New Rehabilitation Hospital Will Be Built On The Care Campus North Of The Center Of The City Of Mechelen, Located On The R6. The Project Site Is Located West Of The Az Sint-Maarten And East Of The Roosendaelveld Residential Care Center. The Assignment Includes The Realization Of A Fully Ready-To-Use New Rehabilitation Hospital Building For The National Multiple Sclerosis Center Of +/- 18,400 M² Gross Floor Area With Outdoor Construction But Without Medical And Non-Medical Loose Equipment. Under The Building There Is A Basement With A Therapy Pool And A Connecting Tunnel To The Adjacent Sint-Maarten Hospital. This Connection With The Sint-Maarten Hospital Would Allow Certain Techniques To Be Shared With The New Rehabilitation Hospital Building. All Agreements Regarding This (Tunnel Connection And Sharing Of Techniques) Will Be Explained In The Award Guidelines In Phase 2. The Contractor Is Responsible For The Construction Of A New Hospital Building, Including The Environmental Construction, Based On Its Own Study, Which In Turn Is Based On The Contract Documents And What Is Included In The Environmental Permit. This Contractor Has A Full Assignment For The Entire Execution Of The Assignment. The Complete Assignment Is Detailed Below In Terms Of An Engineering & Build Assignment, I.E. Without Classic Design Component(S). In Short, The Assignment Concerns An Assignment For The Contracting Of Works As A Result Obligation, According To The E&B Formula, Which Therefore Also Entails An Assignment For Services. The Contractor Is Informed That He Must Realize The Project Within The Proposed Budget And Therefore Also Bears Responsibility And Liability For It. The Key Words For The Realization Are: Sustainable, Contemporary, Innovative, Perfectly Coordinated; Optimized In Terms Of Operating Costs, And Within The Proposed Budget. The Contractor Will Draw Up A Bim Implementation Model.
