Waste Disposal Site Construction Work – Azv Hersfeld-Rotenburg: Construction Work For Basic Sealing Ba 4.1 And 4.2. It Is Planned To Expand The Am Mittelrück Landfill By Building A New Base Seal In Construction Section 4 (Ba 4) Northeast Of The Existing Site. The New Base Seal Should Connect To The Existing Base Seal Of Construction Sections 3.1 And 3.2. It Is Planned To Build The Ba 4 In Two Stages. The Procedure Advertised Here Is Intended To Be Used To Produce The First Two Operational Phases Ba 4.1 And Ba 4.2. The Implementation Plans Enclosed With The Tender Documents Only Represent These Sections. The Area Of ​​The Basic Waterproofing To Be Produced Is Approx. 36,500 M². Construction Should Begin As Quickly As Possible. Both Sections Will Be Constructed In A Project Expected To Be Completed In 10/27. An Indicative Construction Schedule Is Included In Appendix 3. Operating Section 4.3 Will Be Built At A Later Date (Approx. 2029) And Is Not The Subject Of This Tender. The Individual Services Are Described In Detail In The Tender Documents, In Particular In The Service Description (Part B Of The Tender Documents) And The List Of Services (Appendix 1 To The Service Description). According To The Mass Balance, A Total Of Approximately 120,000 M³ Of Soil Must Be Excavated For The Construction Of Operational Sections 4.1 And 4.2. Approximately 36,500 M³ Of This Is To Be Reused As A Technical Barrier, And Another Approximately 30,500 M³ Is To Be Used In The Construction Of The Mineral Seal Including The Edge Walls. As An Improvement To The Geological Barrier And A Technical Measure To Replace The Geological Barrier, An Artificial Mineral Barrier Will Be Produced In Accordance With Depv, Annex 1. The Structure Of The Planned Base Sealing System Is Described In Detail In The Tender Documents. As Described, The Ba 4 Will Be Manufactured In Three Operational Phases. The 1St Operating Section Will Connect To The Ba 3.1 And Be Approx. 90 M Wide, The 2Nd Operating Section Will Connect Seamlessly To The First And Extend To The Bend In The Longitudinal Gradient From 1.5% To 1.0%.
