The Village Of Mcbride Is Requesting Proposals From Qualified And Experienced Firms For The Implementation Of Advanced Metering Infrastructure On The Water Service Connections Within The Service Area. This Project Will See The Installation Of Water Meters On The Remaining Services In The Village Of Mcbride And Replacement Of The Existing Water Meters And Data Collection Technology To Implement Ami Village Of Mcbride-Wide. The Project Will See The Installation Of 365 Water Meters (283 New Water Meters And 82 Replacement Water Meters) And The Installation Of Ami Technology To Collect Data To A Central Point That The Village Can Access The Data All At Once. The Village Prefers A Fixed Network Ami Due To Varying Cellular Network Coverage In The Area.
