Primary School Construction Work – New Notodden Primary And Lower Secondary School. The Tender Documentation Is For The Procurement Of A Turnkey Contractor For The Alteration, Renovation And Expansion Of Sætre School To The New Notodden Primary And Notodden Primary And Lower Secondary Schools. The Work Shall Be Carried Out As A Turnkey Contract, Where All Works Are Combined In One Contract. The Project Includes Adaptations And Renovation Of The Existing School Building, Technical Upgrades, Demolition Work And The Establishment Of Three New Extensions. The Extensions Shall Connect The Existing Buildings Together, Give Better Internal Connections And Provide The Necessary New Areas. New Buildings With A Total Area Of Approx. 1,555 M2 Gross Shall Be Constructed, In Addition To Areas For Technical Installations Such As Refrigeration Rigs And A Lifting Platform. The Schools Shall Be Able To Accommodate Several Pupils, With A Primary And Secondary School As Two Organisational Independent Units With Separate Building And Outdoor Areas. At The Same Time, The Buildings Shall Physically Hang Together, So That It Is Possible To Move Indoors Between The Buildings. The Work Shall Be Carried Out In Three Construction Stages. The Development Includes Both New Buildings, Alterations To Existing School Areas, Development Of Outside Areas And Demolition Of The Existing Buildings. The Project Will Emphasise The Preservation And Re-Use Of Existing Surfaces, Building Parts And Components Where Possible.
