This Is Not A Procurement Announcement Or A Request For Tender, But A Request For Information, With Which The Procurement Unit Conducts A Market Survey Of Potential Providers And Solutions On The Market For The Procurement Need. The Information Obtained From The Market Survey Is Used In The Preparation Of Future Acquisitions. In The Welfare Area Of ​​Länsi-Uusimaa (Luvn) There Is A Need To Acquire Fall And Motion Detection Solutions, Related Equipment And Services, And Maintenance And Support Services Related To Their Production. With This Request For Information, Luvn Wants To Survey The Suppliers Offering The Solutions In Question And Collect Additional Information About The Features Of The Offered Solutions For Procurement Planning. With The Request For Information, We Are Particularly Mapping Out Solutions Where Identifying A Fall Does Not Require Concrete Actions From The Customer, And Which Are Suitable For Identifying The Fall Of Elderly Or Cognitively Challenged Customers. The Welfare Region Of Länsi-Uusimaa Organizes Social And Health Services, Rescue Services, And Student Care Psychologist And Curator Services From 1 January 2023 In Espoo, Hanko, Inkoon, Karkkila, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi, For The Residents Of Lohja, Raasepori, Siunti And Vihti. Almost Half A Million People Live In The Welfare Area And There Are Approximately 9,500 Employees In The Welfare Area.Hospital Services The Hospital Services Are Responsible For The Welfare Areas Basic Health Care Hospital Services, The Geriatric Outpatient Clinic And Home Services Such As The Home Hospital And The Mobile Hospital (Liisa). Hospital Services Have Units In Espoo, Kirkkonummi, Raasepor, Vihti, Lohja, Karkkila And Hanko. Our Staff Consists Of Approximately 850 Social And Healthcare Professionals. Our Specialty Is Care And Rehabilitation Of The Elderly And Palliative Care. In The Departmental Functions Of Hospital Services, Patients Are Treated And Rehabilitated By Multiprofessional Teams According To Their Needs. Most Of The Patients Treated And Rehabilitated In The Units Are Elderly People Whose Functional Capacity Has Decreased. The Goal Of Ward Treatment Is That The Patient Can Return Home Or To A Suitable Living Arrangement As Smoothly As Possible After The Treatment Period, In A Timely And Safe Manner. The Hospitals Property In Espoo Will House An Emergency Department, Four Rehabilitation Departments And Two Palliative Care Departments. There Are Now About 250 Patient Places In Total, And The Patient Rooms Are Mainly Single Rooms. The Ward Functions Will Expand To The Fourth Floor Of The Building In 2027, When The Number Of Patient Beds Will Increase By Approximately 270. These Solutions Should Not Require Concrete Actions From The Customer And Should Be Suitable For Large And Complex Space Solutions And Scale Widely To Various Housing Services And, For Example, Hospital Services. Luvn Has A Clear Need For Solutions In Hospital Services, But Luvn Hopes For A Clearer Vision Of Which Groups Of Residents In Housing Services Could Benefit From The Solutions. The Purpose Of The Solutions Is To Improve Residents Safety And Speed Up Access To Help, As Well As To Reduce The Risk Of Serious Fall Injuries, Especially In Services For The Elderly. The Purpose Of The Solutions Is Also To Support The Work Of The Personnel And To Improve Work Efficiency And Safety, Especially During Night Shifts. The Solutions Must Scale Widely To Different Units And Offer A Clearly Integrated Part Of The Wider Service Package. The Future Supplier Must Offer A Comprehensive Overall Solution That Combines Fall Detection With Other Safety Services, Such As Alarm And Monitoring Systems. The Purpose Is To Move From Point Solutions Towards A Unified And Integrated Service Package.
