Rochdale Council Is Seeking To Commission A Borough-Wide, Community-Based Recovery-Oriented System Of Care That Complements Drug And Alcohol Treatment And Supports Individuals And Families To Enter, Sustain And Progress In Recovery. The Service Will Provide A Flexible Menu Of Recovery Support, Peer-Led And Community-Based Activity That Increases Personal, Social And Community Recovery Capital, Challenges Stigma, And Aligns With The Principles Of Good Help. The Commissioned Provider(S) Will Act As A System Leader, Working In Partnership With Treatment Services, Rochdale Recovery Communities And The Wider Vcfse Sector To Coordinate Recovery Activity Across Neighbourhoods, Build Capacity Within The Community, Invest In Grassroots Recovery Initiatives, And Co-Produce Meaningful Outcomes With People With Lived And Living Experience.The Service Comes Under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 And The Selection Process Under The Regulations And Chosen By The Council Is The Most Suitable Provider Process.Providers Are Invited To Register On The-Chest Portal, Download The Specification And Response Document And Submit Their Responses No Later Than 12 Noon On 26Th May 2026
