During The Period June-August 2026, Åtvidabergs Municipality Will Go Out To Tender For Contracting Regarding Sockertoppens Industrial Area. The Procurement Will Include Infrastructure For Water And Sewage, Fibre, Lighting And Expansion Of The Street Network. Necessary Measures Will Also Consist Of Remediation Work, Both Concerning Excavated Materials And Groundwater And Surface Water. 1. General Project Description Sockertoppens Industrial Area Is A New Industrial Area Located In The Northern Part Of Åtvidabergs Conurbation. A Detailed Plan For The Area Has Been Drawn Up And The Next Step Is The Execution Contract For The First Part Of The Areas Development. The Aim Is To Produce Ready-To-Sell Properties For Industrial And Commercial Activities As Soon As Possible. 2. Scope And Volumes (Preliminary) About 1,300 Running Meters Of Road Infrastructure. Cable, Fiber And Lighting Networks In Connection With The Road Infrastructure With Associated Service Discharges To Future Industrial Plots. Parts Of The Work Consist Of The Replacement Of Existing Main Trunk Lines For Waste, Storm Water And Water Below The Groundwater Level. Management Of Contaminated Excavation Materials (Pfas And Metals), Ground And Surface Water. The Expansion Takes Place In An Area Mainly Consisting Of Arable Land And An Existing Dirt Road Network. 3. Preliminary Timetable Announcement Of The Procurement: 29 June - 31 August 2026.
