Public Road Transport Services – Announcement Of An Open Public Tender For The Assignment Of The Exclusive Right To Perform Public Regular [Urban / Intercity] Road Transport Of Passengers By Buses In The Region Of Crete With A Public Service Concession Agreement In Accordance With Regulation 1370/2007. The Object Of The Contract Is The Assignment Of The Exclusive Right To Perform And Operate Regular Public Urban And Interurban Road Passenger Transport By Bus In The Region Of Crete Through A Concession Contract For Public Passenger Transport Services Pursuant To Regulation 1370/2007. Specifically, The Subject Of The Contract Is The Granting Of The Right To Exclusive Exploitation Of Regular Public Long-Distance And Urban Bus Passenger Transport In The Region Of Crete, With An Estimated Value Of €490,500,000.00 Plus Vat [That Is, €49,050,000 Per Year, For Ten (10) Years. There Is A Possibility Of Extending The Duration Of The Contract, At The Discretion Of The Contracting Entity, For Up To Five (5) Additional Years Exclusively Under The Terms And Conditions Of Paragraph 4 Of Article 4 Of Regulation (Ec) 1370/2007 And In Accordance With Notices 2014/C 92/01 And 2023/C 222/01 Of The European Commission Regarding Interpretative Directives Of Regulation (Ec) 1370/2007. Including An Option, If Exercised Under The Terms And Conditions Of Paragraph 4 Of Article 4 Of Regulation (Ec) 1370/2007, The Estimated Value Of The Contract May Amount To €735,750,000.00 Excluding Vat 13%
