Tenders are invited for Work Order - Support Service to the Esa Space Power Laboratory (3-Tec-Edp-0-007) The Service shall support the laboratory of the Power Systems, EMC Space Environment Division. The service will run electrical testing of batteries, solar generators and power electronics in the facilities. These tests are carried out in support of ESA spacecraft projects, under contract to external customers, and to validate the performance of prototypes of new and improved technologies produced under ESA RD contracts. Most tests extend over periods of months or years and continue day and night. Reliability of operations and equipment is crucial since extended interruptions to tests can reduce the validity of the results and malfunctions of test equipment can damage valuable items under test.
