Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Developing Gender-Responsive Knowledge and Information Products (KIPS) on Regional SPS Standards and Guidelines The Caribbean Agricultural Health and Food Safety Agency (CAHFSA) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) towards the cost of Strengthening the Framework for Intra-regional Trade in Agricultural Products Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds from this financing to eligible payments under a contract for which this invitation is issued. Payments by the CDB will be made only at the request of CAHFSA and upon approval by the CDB and will be subject to all terms and conditions of the Financing Agreement. The Financing Agreement prohibits withdrawal from the financing account for any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of the CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than CAHFSA shall derive any rights from the Financing Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Financing Agreement. CAHFSA, the Executing Agency, now wishes to procure consultancy services to develop Gender-Responsive Knowledge and Information Products (KIPs) on Regional Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Standards and Guidelines. The KIPs will be based on the recommendations emanating from Components 1 and 2 of the Project. The selected consulting firm will develop high-quality, visually engaging, scientifically sound, and practice-based content on a range of SPS issues within relevant segments of the agri-food chain. Products will be presented as both traditional communication materials (fact sheets, brochures) and multimedia aids (short videos, photographs, infographics) accessible on smartphones and other digital platforms.
