Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) are invited for Upgrading of Morpus - Kainuk Road (54 km) MULTINATIONAL KENYA - SOUTH SUDAN ROAD CORRIDOR LESSERU-KITALE AND MORPUS-LOKICHAR ROAD UPGRADING PROJECT PHASE 1 ot 1: Upgrading of the LesseruKitale (B14) Road (55 km) this lot has already been procured. Lot 2: Upgrading of the MorpusKainuk (A1) Road (54 km). Lot 3: Upgrading of the KainukLokichar (A1) Road (75 km). The following are the approximate quantities for the major Bill items of the works: Site Clearance 162 Ha Excavation and fills 2,500,000 m3 Improved Subgrade Material 438,000 m3 Cement Improved Natural Material Sub-base 127,000 m3 Cement Stabilized Graded Crushed Stone Base 109,000m3 Dense Bitumen Macadam for Surfacing 50,000m3 Single seal bituminous surface treatment (Chippings) 7,700 m3 Concrete for major and minor structures 42,000 m3 Steel reinforcement 2,300 Ton A complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language will be available from 6th May, 2026 and may be obtained free of charge from the Kenya National Highways website www.kenha.co.ke or the Government of Kenya Supplier Portal PPIP Procurement Portal: www.tenders.go.ke or purchased from the below address by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KShs. 1,000.00 (Kenya Shillings One Thousand Only) in form of a bankers cheque payable to: Kenya National Highways Authority. 8. There shall be NO organized site visit. However, bidders are encouraged to make arrangements to visit the site and familiarize themselves with the project road before submission of bids. There shall be pre-bid conference on 19th May, 2026 from 11:00 hrs at KeNHA Headquarters, 2nd Floor ,South Wing, Bock C , Barabara Plaza. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Kshs. 160,000,000 (Kenya shillings One Hundred Sixty Million Only) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency. 11. Bids must be enclosed in plain packages and clearly marked with the Tender Reference Number and Description for identification as appropriate, sealed and transmitted by courier or delivered by hand so as to be received at the address below, not later than 1100hrs local time on 3rd July,2026.
