Turku Cemetery Is One Of The Culturally Most Significant Cemeteries In Finland. The Chapel Of The Holy Cross Designed By Pekka Pitkänen Is One Of The Central Objects Of The Constructive Concrete Architecture Of The 1960S. The Site Consists Of Three Blessing Chapels Of Different Sizes And A Crematorium. The Facades And Interiors Of The Chapel Have A Reduced Concrete Surface Throughout. Turku And Kaarina Parish Association Is Requesting A Bid For The Project Management Contract For The Renovation And Expansion Of The Chapel Of The Holy Cross At The Target And Ceiling Price According To The Request For Bids And The Attached Bid Documents. The Goal Of The Renovation Project Is To Implement More Storage Spaces For The Deceased Underground, And To Improve The Facilities And Logistical Solutions Related To These Storage Spaces. In Addition, Renewal Of Technical Systems, Functional Improvements And Repairs Will Be Carried Out In Addition To The Storage Spaces To The Chapels And Public Spaces, And Improvements Related To The Accessibility Of The Building Will Be Made. The Projects Completion Goal Is September 2027. The Crematorium In The Building Will Be In Operation Throughout The Project.
