Tu Dublin Wishes To Establish A Multi Supplier Framework Agreement Of Qualified Transport Providers To Deliver Tailored, Accessible Transport Services Including Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles And Trained Personnel, For The Provision Of Specialised Transport Services. Lot 1 Relates To A Specific Requirement For Two Tu Dublin Students With High Support Needs For Daily Pick Up From Their Home In The Drogheda Area To Blanchardstown Campus And Return Drop Off Each Evening. This May Be Subject To Change Where Either Student Has To Attend Work Placement During The Year. Both Students Have Specialised Powerchairs And Require The Provision Of An Accessible Vehicle With Sufficient Internal Height And Configuration To Safely Accommodate Two (2) Motorised Wheelchairs, Both With High Moulded Seating. Mandatory Vehicle Specifications Are Outlined In The Trd. Lot 2 Shall Encompass The Provision Of Transport Services Required To Meet The Accessibility Needs Of New Students Who May Join The University During The Contract Term. This Includes, But Is Not Limited To, The Supply Of Wheelchair‑Accessible Vehicles And Transport Solutions For Students With Specific Mobility Requirements, Using Appropriately Accessible Vehicles With Increased Internal Height And Capacity To Facilitate Motorised Wheelchairs With Elevated Moulds. Tu Dublin Wishes To Advise Tenderers That There Is Currently No Immediate Requirement For This Lot. However, This Lot May Be Activated In The Future Should The Universitys Needs Change.
