Request For Quotationsspecifications Of Waste Bin Servicesthe Contractor Shall Supply Containers That Will Be Conducive For The Following Collection Material.(A) Garbage;(B) Metal (Scrap Metal And White Goods);(C) Yard Waste/ Organics; And(D) Clean Wood.The City At Its Sole Discretion At Any Time May Add Or Delete Collection Materials And The Contractor Shall Deliver Or Remove Containers Due To An Increase Or Decrease In Collection Material. The City Shall Make Adjustments To The Total Monthly Payment Due To Addition Or Deletion Of Container(S).City Engineering Operations Yards Are Listed In Schedule A-1 - Service Locations, Container Requirements And Service Frequency, But Additional Pickups May Be Required At Other City Locations, Or Due To Excessive Collection Material Prior To Next Pickup. The Contractor Is To Provide Additional Pickups Within 24 Hours After Notification From The City.The Contractor Shall Be Responsible For The Transportation And Delivery Of Collection Materials To An Applicable Disposal Or Processing Facility Which Must Be Approved By The City Representative. The City At Its Sole Discretion May From Time To Time Change The Disposal Or Processing Facility. Currently, Given The Limited Disposal Options, Mattresses And Boxsprings Are Being Hauled Out-Of-Region For Disposal.Addendaif The City Determines That An Amendment Is Required To This Rfq, The City Representative Will Issue A Written Addendum By Posting It On The Bc Bid Website At Www.Bcbid.Gov.Bc.Ca And The City Website At Www.Surrey.Ca (Collectively, The “Websites”), And Upon Posting, Any Addenda Will Form Part Of This Rfq. It Is The Responsibility Of Contractors To Check The Websites For Addenda. The Only Way This Rfq May Be Added To, Or Amended In Any Way, Is By A Formal Written Addendum. No Other Communication, Whether Written Or Oral, From Any Person Will Affect Or Modify The Terms Of This Rfq Or May Be Relied Upon By Any Contractor.
