The project supports Bahrains vision of becoming a regional maritime hub by ensuring the channel can safely accommodate larger vessels. The assessment must quantify the economic and operational impacts of achieving a uniform depth under each scenario and ensure alignment with Bahrains Economic Vision 2030, ultimately enhancing the Kingdoms maritime competitiveness and port attractiveness within the GCC region.
