The Town Of Qualicum Beach Is Seeking Qualified Contractors To Complete The Little Qualicum River Erosion Protection Project South Of Waters Road In Qualicum Beach, Bc. The Work Involves Stabilizing An Actively Eroding Riverbank That Is Threatening A Buried Municipal Watermain By Constructing Four In-Stream Rock Spurs, Along With Associated Clearing, Isolation Of Work Areas, Excavation, Rock Placement, Large Woody Debris Installation, Erosion And Sediment Control, Bank Reinstatement, And Riparian Restoration Planting. This Project Is Time-Sensitive, Environmentally Regulated, And Suited To Contractors With Experience In In-Stream Works And Riparian Restoration.A Mandatory Site Visit Is Scheduled For 2:00:00 P.M. Pst On May 13, 2026, At Little Qualicumriver At The South End Of Waters Road In Qualicum Beach, Bc. Contractors Willbe Required To Sign An Attendance Sheet.
