Expression of Interest for Consulting Services for Owners Engineer (OE) for Transmission Line and Associated Substations The Government of Mozambique (GoM) has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) toward the cost of the Namaacha Boane Transmission Line and Associated Infrastructure Project, to be implemented by Electricidade de Moçambique, E.P. (EDM) as the Executing and Implementing Agency. EDM intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for Consulting Services for the Owners Engineer (OE). 2. The services included under the Consulting Services are: to provide independent technical, contractual, and Environmental and Social (E&S) supervision services during Detailed design review, Construction phase and Defects Liability Period (DLP) to ensure Compliance with contract specifications, approved designs, and applicable standards, Full implementation of Environmental, Social, Health and Safety (ESHS) requirements, Effective project delivery in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety and Capacity building and knowledge transfer to EDM staff.
