Bids Are Invited For 13.25.10-04 Consulting Services For Building Envelope Remediation – Esquimalt Health Unit (Ehu)

The Capital Regional District (“Crd”) Invites Detailed Proposals From Proponents (The Proponents) In Strictaccordance With These Proposal Documents. The Proposals Will Be Evaluated For The Selection Of A Preferredproponent With The Intent To Negotiate To Enter Into A Contract (The “Contract”) To Provide The Servicesdescribed In Appendix “A”.The Crd Invites Proposals From Qualified Consulting Firms With Demonstrated Experience In The Investigationand Design Of Building Envelope Systems For Wood And Steel-Framed, Stucco-Clad Structures. The Scope Ofwork Includes, But Is Not Limited To, Comprehensive Assessment Of Existing Envelope Assemblies To Supportphased Remediation, Evaluation Of Structural Integrity And Associated Repair Requirements And Provision Offull Professional Services Including Reporting, Design, Permitting, Tendering, And Construction Administration.The District Reserves The Right To Award In Whole Or In Part. Proponents May Be Awarded Additional Follow-Onwork Without A Further Competition.A Contract Will Not Necessarily Result From This Request For Proposal (“Rfp”).All Inquiries Related To This Rfp, Including Whether Or Not The Contract Has Been Awarded, Should Be Directedin Writing To The Person Named Below (The “Crd Representative”).
