Refuse Recycling Services - Provision Of Services For Preliminary Treatment Of Waste With Code 20 03 01 Mixed Household Waste Generated From The Territory Of Byala Municipality. The Subject Of The Public Procurement Is Provision Of Services For The Preliminary Treatment Of Waste With Code 20 03 01 Mixed Household Waste Generated From The Territory Of Byala Municipality With An Annual Amount Of About 1,850 (One Thousand Eight Hundred And Fifty) Tons Of Waste With Code 20 03 01 Mixed Household Waste Or About 3,700 (Three Thousand Seven Hundred) Tons For Two Years. The Purpose Of This Public Procurement Is Compliance With The Requirements Of National And European Legislation For The Treatment Of Mixed Household Waste Generated On The Territory Of Byala Municipality. With The Implementation Of The Service For Preliminary Treatment Of Mixed Household Waste, The Following Will Be Achieved: • Achieving A Higher Level Of Waste Management, According To The Hierarchy Of Waste Management Under Article 6, Paragraph 1 Of The Law On Waste Management; • Implementation Of The Provision For Pre-Treatment Of Household Waste Before Disposal; • Support The Implementation Of The Objectives At The Regional Level Under Art. 31, Para. 1 Of The Zao In The Terms For Phased Achievement Defined In § 15 Of The Transitional And Final Provisions Of The Zao; • Reducing The Amount Of Biodegradable Waste Destined For Landfill; • Limiting The Amount Of Landfilled Household Biodegradable Waste; • Extraction Of Useful Raw Material From Mixed Household Waste And Its Transfer For Utilization; • Reduction Of The Amount Of Waste Remaining For Disposal, Correspondingly Lower Costs Of Operating The Regional Landfill And Reduction Of The Harmful Impact Of The Deposited Waste On The Environment And Human Health; • Extending The Operating Period Of The Regional Depot And Saving The Municipality Financial Resources From Deductions Under Art. 60 And Art. 64 Of The Zuo; • Fulfillment Of The Strategic Goals Set Out In The National Waste Management Plan 2021-2028. The Activities - The Subject Of The Order - Are Aimed At Supporting The Fulfillment Of The Obligations Laid Down In The European And National Legislation For The Preliminary Treatment Of Mixed Household Waste Before Its Disposal, As Well As Supporting The Fulfillment Of The Objectives Of Byala Municipality Under Article 31, Paragraph 1, Item 1, Item 2 And Item 6 Of The Zao. The Subject Of This Public Procurement Is The Selection Of A Contractor With Professional Qualifications For The Exercise Of This Type Of Activity And Put Into Operation Installation/Facilities For Pre-Treatment Of Mixed Household Waste With Codes 20 03 01.
