Tenders Are Invited For Supply Of Security Services For The Period From Year 2026 To 2029

Tenders are invited for Supply of Security Services for the Period from Year 2026 to 2029 To be eligible for contract award the successful bidder shall meet the following requirements: a) The bidder shall be a limited liability company or partnership or sole proprietor registered with the Registrar of Companies/ Provincial Council/ Divisional Secretariat with valid business registration as a provider of security service. b) The bidder shall have a valid license issued by the Ministry of Defence. c) The bidder shall have been operating in Sri Lanka for the supply of security services at least for a period of five (05) years successfully up to now and shall be capable of demonstrating with documentary evidences, their track record of at least for five (05) years in supply of security services. d) The bidder shall not have been blacklisted by National Hospital Galle or Ministry of Health or any other government organization previously. Bidder shall meet the requirements of qualifications criteria stipulated in bidding document. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from, Chief Accountant, National Hospital Galle, Karapitiya, Galle (0912232159) and inspect the bidding documents at Chief Accountant office in main office in the National Hospital Galle during 0900 hrs to 1530 hours on any working day from 29.04.2026 until 21.05.2026. A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the Director, National Hospital Galle at the above address during 0900 hrs to 1530 hours on any working day from 29.04.2026 until 21.05.2026 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of LKR 7,500/- into the shroff counter at National Hospital Galle. The method of payment will be by cash. Original & Duplicate bids shall be sealed separately and marked outside of the sealed envelope clearly as Original and Duplicate. Then both Original & Duplicate sealed envelopes shall be enclosed together in one envelope and placed in the tender box made available at Chief Accountant office in the National Hospital Galle, Karapitiya, Galle or sent by registered post addressed to the Chairman, National Hospital Galle, Karapitiya, Galle to reach at or before 1000 hrs on 22.05.2026. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing, in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend at the above address. Bids shall be valid up to 21.08.2026. (i) All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security, which shall be in the form included in the Bidding Document, issued in favour of Director, National Hospital Galle, Karapitiya, Galle on behalf of Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media for an amount of LKR 800,000/= valid up to 18.09.2026 issued by a commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka as per Clause 10 of Instructions to Bidders. Alternatively, bidder can pay in cash to shroff of the National Hospital Galle. Department Procurement Committee, National Hospital Galle reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to accept any portion of a bid, at any time prior to awarding of a contract without giving any reasons for such action. Department Procurement Committee, National Hospital Galle is not bound to accept the lowest or any bids.
