Tenders Are Invited For Breathable And Liquid Impermeable Hygienic Patient Pad

The Object Of The Procurement Is The Breathable And Liquid-Impermeable Hygienic Patient Pads Purchased By Oulun Keskuspesula Oy (Cliini) For Its Customers (Oys). Currently, Oys Uses A Traditional Basic Hospital Pillow, And Some Also Use A Separate Plasticized Hygiene Cover. Both The Current Pillow And The Current Hygiene Cover Are Washable Products. These Are To Be Replaced With The Hygienic Patient Pillow That Is The Subject Of Procurement, Which Replaces Both The Pillow And The Plasticized Hygiene Cover With One Product. The Pillow Will Not Be Washed In The Laundry In The Future. The Pillow Must Be Impervious To Liquids, The Seams Must Be Hot-Glued, So That It Can Be Washed And Disinfected On The Spot In The Hospital By Wiping The Surface Of The Pillow With General Cleaning Agents And Disinfectants Used In The Hospital. The Pillow Must Also Be Breathable And Prevent Pathogens From Entering The Pillow. The Main Use Of Patient Pillows Is The Bed Wards Of Oys Hospital And Any Other Units At Oulu University Hospital. The Total Amount Of Procurement For The Contract Period Is Estimated To Be Around 3,000 Pieces. The Orders Are Carried Out In Batches, Of Which The Orderer Must Have The Delivery Of The First Batch Of Approx. 1,500 By The Fall Of 2026. This Delivery Is Desired In Smaller Batches, E.G. 3 Batches, About 500 Pcs/Week. After The First Large Batch, There May Be Smaller Orders. The Final Batch Will Be Purchased If The First Batch Of Pillows Expires Before The End Of The Contract Period. One (1) Supplier Will Be Selected In The Competition. The Contract Period Is Limited Until 31 December 2030. The Contract Period Starts In Autumn 2026 Or As Soon As Possible. A One (1) Year Option May Be Included In The Contract.
