Tenders Are Invited For Veluwe Approach Design And Implementation Organization Design

With Approximately 90,000 Hectares, The Veluwe Is The Largest Nitrogen-Sensitive Natura 2000 Area On Land In The Netherlands. Due To An Accumulation Of Factors, The Quality Of Nature Is Under Pressure. With The Veluwe Approach, The National Government, The Province Of Gelderland, The Vallei & Veluwe Water Board, The Rijn And Ijssel Water Board And The 21 Surrounding Municipalities Are Joining Forces: As One Government, With One Approach And One Joint Working Method. The Joint Authorities Have Been Working On This Since 2024 And Developed The Assignment And Form Of Cooperation In The First Phase. As Collaborating Authorities, We Are Looking For An External Agency In This Phase That Is A Link Between The Authorities Themselves, And Between The Authorities And The Environment. We Are Continuing Along The Path We Have Taken, Which Previously Involved The Use Of Process-Based And Substantive Support From A Consultancy Firm. The Most Important Assignment Is To Act As A Quartermaster For The Implementation Organization Of The Veluwe Approach. The Contractor Contributes To The Further Realization Of The Tasks Arising From The Draft Implementation Plan, And At The Same Time Puts Together A Sustainable Implementation Organization. We Expect That The Work Can Start Between July 1 And September 1, 2026. The Duration Of The Assignment Is One Year With An Option To Extend Twice For 6 Months.
