Bids Are Invited For May 2026 Motor Grader Fleet Additions

After Completing The Rfp For New Motor Graders To Add To Its Fleet, Council Has Approved New Grader Routes And The Purchase Of Motor Graders For These Routes. The County Is Seeking Three (3) Additional Graders For Various Road Maintenance Operations. With The Increasing Volume Of Paved Road Networks In More Dense Residential Neighbourhoods, The County Has Come To Understand The Need For Heavier Units Or Units Capable Of Higher Down Pressure To Remove Ice From Paved Roads. The County Is Seeking The Best Unit To Fulfill The Multiple Purposes For Summer Gravel Road Maintenance Including Dust Control, Soft Spot Repair, To Shoulder Pulls And Winter Operations To Plow Snow Off Gravel Roads, Winging On Paved Highways And Roads Within Nisku Park And Paved Roads Through Many Subdivisions. All Proposed Units Are To Meet Any And All Requirements Of Motorized Vehicles Operating In Alberta Including But Not Limited To The Alberta Vehicle Equipment Regulation.
