Tenders Are Invited For Construction Of A Roundabout On Gen. Skobelev St., Maritsa St., Plovdiv St.

The Subject Of The Public Procurement Is The Construction Of A New Roundabout On General Skobelev Street With Maritsa And Plovdiv Streets, Shumen, Representing A Complete Infrastructural Solution For The Reconstruction Of The Existing Intersection, Including The Adjacent Road And Technical Infrastructure. According To Art. 137, Para. 1, Item 3 Of The Zut, The Site Is Third Category. The Project Is A Long-Term Measure Of The Municipality Of Shumen, Laid Down In The New General Plan For The Organization Of Traffic (Gpod) Of The City Of Shumen From 2025. The Need To Realize The Object Stems From The Insufficiently Efficient And Illogical Transport And Technical Connections Between The Adjacent Streets, As Well As From The Need For A Comprehensive Solution, Guaranteeing An Increase In Road Safety And Improving The Operational Characteristics Of The Street Network. The Aim Of The Project Is To Achieve A High Level Of Road Safety By Building A New Roundabout With Priority For Those Moving In The Circle, With Two Traffic Lanes In The Circle And Two Lanes At The Entrances, With A Geometry Adapted To Five Direct Incoming Branches. The Intersection Has An Ellipse-Type Shape, With A Major Axis In The Southwest-Northeast Direction, Consistent With The Configuration Of The Existing Street Network. The Public Contract Includes The Implementation Of Construction And Installation Works According To An Approved Investment Project In The Technical Design Phase, Together With Quantity And Value Accounts For The Relevant Project Parts. All Activities Included In The Subject Of The Public Procurement, As Well As The Requirements For Their Implementation, Are Described In Detail In The Technical Specification Of The Contracting Authority - An Integral Part Of The Documentation Under This Procurement.
