571-Npp Supply Of Optical Gas Imaging (Ogi) Camera . Subject To This Npp, The Alberta Energy Regulator (Aer) Intends To Enter Into An Agreement With Flir Unmanned Aerial Systems Ulc (Flir) To Acquire One (1) Optical Gas Imaging (Ogi) Camera To Support Specialized Surveillance Activities. The Equipment Will Be Used By Aer Staff To Detect And Document Hydrocarbon Gas Emissions During Field Operations. The Aer May, At Its Sole Discretion, Purchase Additional Ogi Cameras, Accessories, Or Related Services Should Operational Requirements Increase. The Aer Has Identified Flir As A Proposed Vendor Based On Its Established Experience Supplying Ogi Equipment Used For Methane Detection In Regulatory And Industrial Settings. Flir Equipment Is Currently Used Within Aer Inspection Programs, And Continued Use Supports Operational Consistency, Inspector Familiarity, And Data Continuity. The Proposed Approach Reduces Operational Risk Associated With Introducing Incompatible Hardware Or Retraining Requirements, While Maintaining Safety And Inspection Effectiveness. This Agreement Will Be For An Initial Term Of One (1) Year, With An Option To Renew For An Additional Two-Year Term Based On Aer’S Requirements.
