Summary:Through This Request For Proposals (“Rfp”), The City Of Merritt (The “City”) Invites Proposals From Suitability Qualified And Experienced Companies, Interested In Performing Work To Resurface The Pool Deck And Change Room Floors At The Nicola Valley Aquatic Centre.The Work Will Include, But Is Not Limited To, The Following:Work To Apply To A Combined Area Of Approximately 4125 Square Feet, Covering The Pool Deck And Change Room Area Floors.Work To Also Include Approximately 1400 Linear Feet Of Cove Basework To Include Repair Of Cracks On Existing Surface.Work To Include Supply And Installation Of New Surface Over Existing Epoxy Surface.Other Ancillary Works As Detailed Herein.Further Details Of The Work Requirements Is Provided In Division 1, Division 9, Plus Exhibit A Of This Rfp.Location: The Place Of The Work Is The Nicola Valley Aquatic Centre, 2040 Mamette Avenue, Merritt, Bc.Maximum Budget: The City Is Not Disclosing A Maximum Budget For This Work.Contract Time: The Following Are Key Milestone Dates Required For The Work:The Work Must Be Performed Within The Following ‘Work Window’, When The Pool Is Closed For Mechanical Room Work.Pools Will Be Drained By August 9Th, 2026.Work Window Is: August 9Th To September 30Th 2026 (Inclusive).The Work Must Be Fully Complete, With ‘Ready For Takeover’ Achieved For The Facility No Later Than End Of Day On September 30Th 2026.Form Of Contract: The Form Of Contract To Be Executed Between The City And The Contractor For The Work Will Be The Canadian Construction Documents Committee Ccdc2 – 2020 Stipulated Price Contract, As Modified By Supplementary Conditions.Rfp Approach: In This Rfp, The City Has Prescribed Its Minimum Requirements And Overarching Objectives For The Work.
