With This Request For Information, Hus Aims To Obtain Information For The Preparation Of The Procurement, The Target Of Which Are Liquid Handling Robots (Liquid Handling Robots) For The Helsinki Biobanks Liquid Sample Laboratory For Dividing Samples Into Aliquots And Making Dna Dilutions. The Helsinki Biobank Processes Human Blood, Urine, Feces, Saliva And Cerebrospinal Fluid Samples In Its Liquid Sample Laboratory. From The Samples, 4-10 Aliquots Are Aliquoted (Usually After Centrifugation) Into 0.3-2 Ml 2D-Coded Cryotubes And The Samples Are Frozen And Stored At -80 Degrees Or Colder. The Daily Sample Quantities Are 1-150 Samples, Depending On The Sample Quality. The Aliquoting Of The Samples Is Automated To The Liquid Processing Machine When The Daily Sample Quantity Exceeds The Sample Amount That Can Be Conveniently Processed By Manual Pipetting. Currently, Helsinki Biobank Aliquots 10 Ml Edta Samples With The Liquid Processing Machine, Of Which There Are Approx. 100 Pieces Daily. In The Future, The Aliquoting Of Other Sample Qualities May Be Automated. In Addition, The Biobank Isolates Dna From Its Blood And Tissue Samples And Makes These Normalizations And Dilutions. The Helsinki Biobank Is Acquiring A New Liquid Processing Machine To Replace A Device That Has Reached The End Of Its Life Cycle. The Acquired Device Will Primarily Process Edta Blood Samples, But The Sample Qualities And Aliquotation Protocols That Can Be Processed With The Device May Be Expanded In The Future. In The Future, Dna Dilutions And Normalizations Will Also Be Done With The Purchased Device. The Device Must Be Able To Recognize 1D And 2D Barcoded Sample Tubes And Aliquot Certain Fractions From A Centrifuged And Uncapped Blood Tube Into Predetermined Tubes Or Onto A Sample Plate. The Device Must Combine The Barcoded Information From The Original Sample Tube (Hereafter Mother Tube, E.G. 10 Ml Vacutainer Blood Tube) With The 2D-Coded Tube (Hereafter Child Tube, E.G. 0.5 Ml Cryotube) And Record The Necessary Parameters From Pipetting (Volume, Object From Which To Pipet (Identifier Of Mother Tube), Object To Be Pipetted (Identifier Of Child Tube), Time Stamp (Date, Time), Device, Device User)
