Network Management Software Services – Basic Installation, Migration And Subsequent Operation Of The Westdeutscher Rundfunk (Wdr) Load Balancer Infrastructure Based On The Systems From The Manufacturer F5. The Subject Of This Tender Is The Conclusion Of A Contract For The Basic Installation, Migration And Subsequent Operation Of The Load Balancer Systems From The Manufacturer F5 Used By Westdeutscher Rundfunk (Wdr). The Necessary Hardware, Licenses And Manufacturer Maintenance Are Procured By Wdr As Part Of A Separate, Independent Framework Agreement. In Contrast, This Tender Exclusively Covers The Planning, Implementation, Commissioning, Migration And Subsequent Operation Of The New Systems Based On The Components Provided. In Close Coordination With The Client And The Previous Service Provider, The Contractor Assumes Technical And Organizational Responsibility For: - The Preparation, Planning And Coordination Of The Migration, - The System Commissioning And Basic Configuration Of The New F5 Systems, - The Migration Of Existing Services, - The Adaptation Of The Operating Concept And The Training Of The Application Support Staff, - The Subsequent Operation And Monitoring Of The Systems, - The Implementation Of Regular Firmware And Security Updates, - The Ongoing Configuration Maintenance And Documentation. The Systems Are Accessed Via A Secured Remote Environment (Vpn) Provided By The Client. The Service Is Generally Provided Remotely. On-Site Operations In The Clients Data Center In Cologne Are Only Planned In Justified Exceptional Cases And After Prior Coordination With The Client. The Preparatory Work By The Future Contractor Is Scheduled To Begin On July 1, 2026. The Contract Term For Support Is 48 Months And Begins With The Acceptance Of The Systems As Part Of The Start Of Operations, But No Later Than January 1, 2027.
