Bids Are Invited For Uniformed Security Guard Services

The Purpose Of The Request For Qualifications (Rfq) Is To Invite Interested Parties To Submit Responses To The City Indicating Their Interest In And Providing Their Qualifications For The Uniformed Security Guard Services Consisting Of Static Guard, Mobile Patrols, Facility Security Inspections, Foot Patrols, Video Surveillance, And Working With The City’S Bylaw And Regulatory Services Department Staff And Chilliwack Rcmp General Duty And Community Police Services.The Scope Of Work For This Project Will Include:• Provision Of A Twenty-Four (24) Hours, Seven (7) Day Per Week Security Guard Services• All Security Personnel To Wear Approved Uniforms At All Times While On Duty• Security Patrols At Civic Facilities• Provide Marked Pickup Trucks And Necessary Equipment• Motorized Patrols Consisting Of Two (2) Uniformed Guards In One Patrol Vehicle To Respondto Calls For Service In The City’S Downtown Business Improvement Area (Bia)• Provide One (1) Static Security Guard At The Chilliwack Regional Library From 10:00-18:00Monday To Friday, And From 10:00 – 17:00 On Saturday• Opening And Closing Gates At Fourteen (14) Parks, Trail Access Points, Parking Lots Andnatural Areas At The Beginning And End Of Each Day And Patrolling The Parking Lots Prior To Closing• Provide Additional Security Services As Requested For Project Sites, Special Events, Anddisaster Response (Road Closures, Site Securement, Etc.)• Assist Rcmp With Removal And Storage Of Personal Effects Of Clients• Provide Regular Reporting Using Software That Is Comparable To, Or Functionally Equivalentto, Tracktik.To Download Documents Related To This Rfq Visit The City Of Chilliwack Website At Www.Chilliwack.Com/Bids
