Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – New Town Hall Building In Greven: Planning Services For Building Physics. A2 The New Building Is To Be Built On The Town Hall Square, Which Is Currently Still Used As A Bus Station And Public Parking Space. The Land Area For The New Town Hall Building Is 11,526 Square Meters. The Space Requirement Determined In Advance Is Around 7,669 Square Meters Of Usable Space. For This Purpose, As Part Of A Vgv Process, A Structural And Open Space Planning Competition Was Held With A Subsequent Negotiation Process In Order To Find Suitable Working Groups Of Architects And Landscape Architects To Carry Out This Construction Task, Which Is Very Important For The City Of Greven In Terms Of Content, Urban Development And Architecture. The Bidding Consortium Löhle Neubauer Architekten, Augsburg And Wbp Landschaftsarchitekten, Bochum Were Commissioned Under The Leadership Of The Löhle Neubauer Architekten Office. The Competition Entry Serves As A Basis And Must Be Taken Into Account In Further Planning. Description Ta (Excerpt From The Explanatory Text Of The Competition Entry Of The Competition Entry From The Offices Of Löhle Neubauer Architects And Wbp Landschaftsarchitekten): ...The Energy Concept Promotes A Sustainable, Resource-Saving Approach, Which Strives For An Economical And Functional Solution That Reduces The Buildings Primary Energy Requirements And Uses Renewable Energies. The Building Is Characterized By Its Flexible Construction And High Use Of Daylight. Windows With Triple Glazing Ensure A High Level Of Daylight Entry And Complement The High-Combed Facade Construction. Solar Input, Lots Of Daylight And Warm Surfaces Increase The Quality Of Stay And At The Same Time Reduce Energy Requirements. The Artificial Lighting Is Provided Using Led Technology In Combination With Presence And Daylight Control. A Hybrid Ventilation Concept Is Planned For Ventilation. Thanks To An Optimized Ratio Of Room Height To Room Depth, Only Basic Mechanical Ventilation With A 1.3-Fold Air Change Is Required In The Offices. The Larger Meeting Rooms (Bistro, Library, Meeting Rooms) As Well As All Sanitary Rooms Will Have A Ventilation System With Heat Recovery (1.5X Air Exchange). In Conjunction With Shock Ventilation Using Openable Window Elements, Optimal Air Quality Can Be Guaranteed. The Ventilation System Receives Highly Efficient Heat Recovery (90%), So That The Heating Energy Requirement Can Be Minimized....
