Kannelmäkis Current Church And Parish Center Were Completed In 1968 And Were Designed By Martti And Marjatta Jaatinen. The Church Has Been Protected By A Decision Of The Church Board In 2004. The Protection Also Includes The Fixed Interior Of The Church, The Related Paintings And Works Of Art, And The Courtyard. The Starting Point Has Been A Rectangular Building Figure Like The Present One, Which Acts As A Base For The Church. The Glass Hinged Part Between The Church And The Parish Center Will Be Realized As A Single Floor, The Lobby Of The Building As A High Part, And The Elevator Will Be Placed On The Side Of The New Building. Access To The Church Takes Place Along A Narrow Glass Corridor On The Floor Level Of The Church. The New Building Has Two Normal-Height Floors And A Higher Hall At The End, On The Roof Of Which Condensers And Other Technical Equipment Can Be Hidden. In This Way, The Eaves Can Be Kept In Such A Way That The New Building Still Submits To The Volume Of The Church Itself In Accordance With The Requirements: The Eaves Remains Almost Original. The Cross-Sectional Shape Of The Building Is Simpler Than The Original And The Depth Of The Original 2Nd Floor Throughout. The New Building Has A Precast Concrete Frame. The Facade Of The Building On The Side Of The Churchyard And At The Ends Has A Brick-Like Concrete Facade. The Premises Of The Building Open In The Direction Of The Parking Lot To The Northwest.
