Engineering Services – General Planning For District Heating And Wastewater Transport Management (Lauterbrunnen – Wengen). Bkw Aek Contracting Ag (Bac) Is Planning To Build A New District Heating Network In The Lauterbrunnen And Wengen Areas. The Project Includes The Use Of Waste Heat From The Lauterbrunnen Ara As Well As The Use Of Energy Wood And Heating Oil To Ensure Base And Peak Load Supply. The Heat Generated Will Be Brought To Customers Via A New District Heating Network, Partly In Lauterbrunnen And Mainly In Wengen. A Transport Line Is Planned Between The Heating Center In Lauterbrunnen (Ara Lauterbrunnen) And The Distribution Network In Wengen (Roossi Pumping Station). The Project For The Transport Line Has Already Been Developed Up To And Including Sia Phase 3.31 (Preliminary Project). The Preliminary Project Is Included In The Tender Documents (Document D4). At The Same Time, A Condition Analysis Commissioned By The Local Community Of Lauterbrunnen Showed That The Existing Wastewater Pipe Between The Chalet Mittaghorn In Wengen And The Ara Lauterbrunnen Is In Need Of Replacement. Due To The Spatial Synergy Potential With The Planned District Heating Transport Pipeline, A Preliminary Project For Replacing The Wastewater Pipeline Was Also Started. This Report Is Also Included In The Tender Documents (Document D2). Since The Sewer Line Is Owned By The Community Of Lauterbrunnen And The Overall Planning Of Both Projects Is To Be Carried Out By A Single Planning Team For Synergy Reasons, The Entire Project Is Subject To Public Procurement Law. On This Basis, The General Planning Of The District Heating And Wastewater Transport Pipeline Will Be Put Out To Tender. This Includes The Planning Services For The Connection Between The Lauterbrunnen Ara And The Roossi Pumping Station Area Or Chalet Mittaghorn In Wengen As Well As The District Heating Connections In The School/Retirement Home Area In Lauterbrunnen. Excluded From The Planning Services Is The Specialist Planning And Construction Management Of The District Heating Pipes; This Is Carried Out Directly By Bac.
