With This Request For Tenders, The Welfare Area Of Vantaa And Kerava (Hereafter The Client) Requests A Tender For Funeral Services And Related Transportation For Income Support Clients. The Service Includes The Burial And Transport Of People From Vantaa And Kerava Who Are Entitled To Income Support In The Capital Region From Monday To Saturday And A Small Floral Arrangement For The Coffin, As Well As A Service Of The Income Support Client At The Funeral Home For Arranging The Burial And The Necessary Cooperation With The Parish Association Or Similar Regarding The Burial. If Necessary, The Welfare Area Of Vantaa And Kerava Orders Porter And Assistant Services From The Service Provider Based On The Service Providers Proposal. The Service Starts With The Handover Of The Deceased From An Institution, Hospital, Health Center Or Forensic Medicine Institution And Ends With Burial. See The Service Description For More Details. The Contract Period Is 1 July 2026–31 December 2028. After The Contract Period, The Contract Can Be Extended By Two (2) Option Years One Year At A Time. The Use Of The Option Is Notified Three (3) Months Before The End Of The Contract Period Or Option Year. By Submitting An Offer, The Selected Service Provider Undertakes To Sign The Procurement Contract And Deliver The Service With A 100% Delivery Guarantee. As A Result Of The Competition, One (1) Service Provider And One (1) Backup Service Provider Will Be Selected, With Whom The Contract Will Be Signed Only In The Event That The Actual Service Provider Is Unable To Provide The Service In Accordance With The Contract. If The Service Provider Selected In The Tender Does Not Sign The Contract Or Start Operating At The Beginning Of The Contract Period On July 1, 2026, The Customer Has The Right To Leave The Contract Unsigned And/Or Terminate The Contract Immediately Without Notice. In Addition, The Subscriber Has The Right To Obtain The Service From An Alternate Service Provider Or From Another Third Party And Collect All The Resulting Additional Costs From The Service Provider.
