Tenders are invited for Procurement of Student "B" Type Tables and Chairs for Schools (Manufacturing and Supply) Non-refundable Fee (Rs): 6000/- Bid Security Amount (Rs) & Valid upto: 255,000.00 & (17.08.2026) A complete set of Bidding Documents could be purchased from 20.04.2026 till 04.05.2026 during 9.00 Hours to 15.00 Hours on working days. a. Upon submission of Bank Paid Slip received from the Bank of Ceylon for the non-refundable fee paid as shown above to the Bank Account No. 5850303 of "Secretary, Provincial Ministry of Education, Eastern Province, Trincomalee" or shroff counter at the Provincial Ministry of Education, Eastern Province, Trincomalee. b. Application for Bid Documents available in the Finance Division, Department of Education, Eastern Province, Inner Harbour Road, Trincomalee. Completed Bids must be delivered to the below address or deposited to the tender box available in the Director of School Works, Ministry of Education, Eastern Province, Trincomalee Room on or before the closing time of bids 14.30 Hours of 05.05.2026. Bids will be opened immediately after closing of the bids in the presence of the bidders or their permitted representatives. Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents free of charge from Director of School Works, Ministry of Education, Eastern Province, Trincomalee. All bids shall be accompanied by bid security from either a reputed Bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka or Refundable Cash deposit as per the information given in the table above. In the case of Cash deposit, the bidder shall deposit the money at the Accounts Branch of the Provincial Ministry of Education, Eastern Province, Orrs Hill, Trincomalee, and the Original cash deposit receipt shall be attached and submitted along with the bid. The bid security must remain valid up to the date specified in the table above, starting from 05.05.2026. The Bids shall be submitted as the Original and Copy. The Original and the Copy should be enclosed in separate sealed envelopes and marked as the "Original" and "Copy" respectively. Both envelopes shall be enclosed in a single sealed envelope with the description of work and bid number written on the top left corner of the envelope. The Bids shall remain valid for the number of days mentioned in the table after the deadline of bid submission. Pre-bid meeting will be conducted on 28.04.2026 at 10.30 a.m. at the Provincial Ministry of Education, Eastern Province, Orrs Hill, Trincomalee.
