Sligo County Council, Through The Sligo Regional Design Office, Intends To Procure Multidisciplinary Consultancy Services, Together With Specialist Expertise As Required, For The N4/N16 Sligo Urban Active Travel And Road Safety Improvement Projects. The Scheme Has Been Divided Into Two Separate Projects: 1. Road Safety Improvement Scheme 2. N4/N16 Sligo Urban Active Travel Project. This Is To Allow The Road Safety Improvement Scheme Which Has A High Collision Location Element Of The Works To Be Progressed Urgently. This Location Has Experienced A Significant Number Of Collisions And Therefore Requires Immediate Intervention, Rather Than Waiting For The Full Development Timeline Of The Broader Active Travel Project. The N4/N16 Sligo Urban Active Travel Project Involves The Development Of Active Travel Infrastructure Along The N16 Primary Road Corridor, Extending From The Abbvie Roundabout To The N4/N16 Junction.
