Civil Engineering Consultancy Services – N4/N16 Sligo Urban Active Travel And Road Safety Improvement Scheme. Sligo County Council, Through The Sligo Regional Design Office, Intends To Procure Multidisciplinary Consultancy Services, Together With Specialist Expertise As Required, For The N4/N16 Sligo Urban Active Travel And Road Safety Improvement Projects. The Scheme Has Been Divided Into Two Separate Projects: 1. Road Safety Improvement Scheme 2. N4/N16 Sligo Urban Active Travel Project. This Is To Allow The Road Safety Improvement Scheme Which Has A High Collision Location Element Of The Works To Be Progressed Urgently. This Location Has Experienced A Significant Number Of Collisions And Therefore Requires Immediate Intervention, Rather Than Waiting For The Full Development Timeline Of The Broader Active Travel Project. The N4/N16 Sligo Urban Active Travel Project Involves The Development Of Active Travel Infrastructure Along The N16 Primary Road Corridor, Extending From The Abbvie Roundabout To The N4/N16 Junction.
