A Development Project For University Transfer Application Procedures Initiated By The University Rectors Council Unifi Ry And Funded By The Ministry Of Education And Culture, Which Is Administratively Placed At The University Of Helsinki. The Project Is Scheduled For 2026-2027. The Steering Group Of The University Student Selection Cooperation Acts As The Steering Group For The Project, And The Progress Of The Project Is Regularly Reported To The Vice-Chancellors Responsible For University Education. The Purpose Of The Project Is To:- Find Out And Describe The Current Situation Of The Transfer Application, The Variety Of Selection Criteria And The Obstacles To Expanding The Transfer Application- Create Incentives To Apply In The Transfer Application Instead Of The Joint Application By Paying Attention To Crediting Previous Studies And The Remaining Degree Completion Time, By Expanding Transfer Search, By Increasing The Starting Places And Reviewing The Search Schedule - To Increase The Consistency And Transparency Of The Selection Criteria For The Transfer Search - To Increase The Recognition Of The Transfer Search - To Clarify The Possibilities Of Smoothing The Technical Implementation Of The Transfer Selections The Goal Is That The Transfer Search Is Developed And Communicated Based On The Researched Information.
