mapping And Combating Alien Plant Species . Descriptionthe Main Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Enter Into A Contract With A Supplier Who Has The Capacity And Expertise To Continue The Municipalitys Systematic Fight Against Some Of The Most Problematic Alien Plant Species (Giant Bear Cake/Tromsø Palm, Giant Spring Seed And Russian Valerroot) Within Most Of The City Of Oslo And Parts Of Oslomarka. The Aim Of The Measures Is To Reduce The Number Of Occurrences And Quantity Of These Plant Species. It Is Also An Important Purpose To Combat Certain Localities Of Other Alien Plant Species With High And Very High Ecological Risk, Which Pose A Major Threat To The Municipalitys Biological Diversity (Cf. Action Plan For Biological Diversity). Of These, Priority Is Given To Large Gorse Species (Park Gorse, Giant Gorse And The Crossing) And Giant Spring Seed Deposits Along Waterways. It May Also Be Appropriate To Use The Contract To Combat Other Individual Occurrences Of Alien Plants Or Several Alien Plant Species Within Individual Areas Or Stretches (E.G. Within Protected Areas, Along Defined Road Sections, Etc.) The Contract Is A Single Purchase With A Duration Of 2 Years, With Options That Can Be Triggered In 1 + 1 Year.
