Tenders are invited for Feasibility Sti for the Expansion of Bandar Al-Dar Channel Tender Type: Public Tender Tender Description: The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications (MTT) requires a Comprehensive Feasibility Study for the deepening and widening of Bandar Al Dar Channel. The channel currently exists but has shallow depths. Bandar Al Dar Channel is located on Bahrains east coast, connecting the Arabian Gulf to its associated port facilities within the Gulf of Bahrain. The intention of this project is to deepen and widen the existing channel in order to enhance safety and security by enabling vessel movement from north to south without crossing international waters, improve navigation safety, and support southern industrial facilities as well as port and private jetty operations. MTT intends to appoint a reputable consultant to carry out the comprehensive feasibility study for this project. The study shall include, at minimum, technical feasibility, commercial feasibility, environmental feasibility, and the submission and presentation of the feasibility study.
