To Improve Security At Various Town Facilities And To Maintain Existing Video Surveillance Assets, This Rfp Will Seek Responses From Qualified Contractors Capable Of Upgrading And Installing The Required Video System Hardware. Scope Of Work Includes The Supply, Installation And Configuration Of Video Cameras, Wireless Ethernet Communications Hardware And Other Recording Server Equipment To Form A Complete System For The Facilities Indicated In Specifications. A Mandatory Site Visit Will Be Held At Town Facilities Identified Below On Friday May, 1, 2026 Beginning At 10:00 A.M. At The Jda Place (Twin Arena Facility) To Allow Bidders To View The Existing Conditions On Site. Anticipated Walk-Through Locations: A. Jda Place (Whitecourt Twin Arenas) B. Allan & Jean Millar Centre (Recreation Centre) C. Forest Interpretive Centre D. Public Works Building E. Whitecourt Fire Hall F. Festival Park This Will Provide The Bidders An Opportunity To Examine Site Conditions, Existing Hardware And Camera Mounting Locations, Poles, Etc. It Is Recommended That Bidders Include An Electrical Sub-Contractor On Their Team For The Site Visit As There Is Some Electrical Services Within The Work And Appropriate Permits Will Be Required.
